First Aid Injury Care and Occupational Health Services

The occupational health services we specialize in are proven methods that resolve worker’s compensation injuries quickly and are considered first aid by OSHA.

While the patient is recovering from their injury they are educated on injury prevention and long term solutions for their injury.  Self care, home exercises and relapse prevention are included in every patient’s care plan. As a result the employee feels cared for and confident in the work place.

The goal while helping the patient recover then prepare them for a safer and more productive career.

DOT Physicals

We understand the challenging life of a commercial driver. That is why we help drivers get in promptly for their exams so they can focus on their careers.  The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Mission Statement: “The FMCSA is focused on reducing crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses” and is our mission when we perform DOT exams.

In our DOT Physical Exams we emphasize wellness. Drivers have a duty to be safe on our roadways. Our primary intent is to objectively measure your fitness for driving. If you have specific goals such as losing weight, lowering your blood pressure, improving your meals or planning exercise routines while on the road we will help you with your goals. It has been our pleasure seeing drivers since 2007 make positive improvements in their health.

  • Although SCI has made efforts in other areas to reduce workers' compensation costs, our significant reduction in expenses is largely due to ART's program. OSHA VPP auditors called this program a Best Management Practice after auditing Sanmina-SCI.

  • In 2004 I was invited to a short seminar put on by ART. I was so impressed with the program that I was eager to find out more about it. Dr. Michael Leahy showed me the many ways that Active Release Techniques could benefit our company. I have certainly not been disappointed in what ART has to offer. ART has saved our company thousands of dollars in Workers Compensation Benefits, Insurance Premiums which helped us to lower our experience modifier rate.

  • ART has been a WIN-WIN program for LPR and its employees. Employees can utilize ART to free themselves of discomforts that they would usually just live with. Now, with ART, the minor discomforts are prevented from becoming serious. I personally, and other managers, have had successsful experiences with ART and will continue to spread the word of ART.

  • I feel the ART program is working extremely well and is definitely a benefit to our employees. The ART provider is very responsive to our employees needs and I have heard nothing but positive feedback from our employees.
