First Aid Injury Care and Occupational Health Services
The occupational health services we specialize in are proven methods that resolve worker’s compensation injuries quickly and are considered first aid by OSHA.
While the patient is recovering from their injury they are educated on injury prevention and long term solutions for their injury. Self care, home exercises and relapse prevention are included in every patient’s care plan. As a result the employee feels cared for and confident in the work place.
The goal while helping the patient recover then prepare them for a safer and more productive career.

DOT Physicals
We understand the challenging life of a commercial driver. That is why we help drivers get in promptly for their exams so they can focus on their careers. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Mission Statement: “The FMCSA is focused on reducing crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses” and is our mission when we perform DOT exams.
In our DOT Physical Exams we emphasize wellness. Drivers have a duty to be safe on our roadways. Our primary intent is to objectively measure your fitness for driving. If you have specific goals such as losing weight, lowering your blood pressure, improving your meals or planning exercise routines while on the road we will help you with your goals. It has been our pleasure seeing drivers since 2007 make positive improvements in their health.
Before your DOT Physical please make sure you do the following:
- Shower.
- Bring cash or a credit card plus your drivers license.
- Bring all medications including the correct spelling, dosage & prescribing provider’s name.
- A medical urine test will be performed when you arrive for your physical. The urine test is testing for the presence of blood, sugar and protein only. We do not perform drug tests.
**Please note: the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recommends drivers on prescription medications for more 3 or more health conditions have exams performed by a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy. We recommend you see one of the doctors at St. Mary’s Occupational Medicine.
